  • Based in Fairbanks, Alaska, Fireweed Fiddle is a high-spirited acoustic roots band blending fiddle-driven Americana with a lively mix of folk, bluegrass, outlaw country, swing, and blues. Led by fiddler, vocalist, and songwriter Rachel DeTemple, the band is known for their energetic performances and genre-blending originals.

    With Adam Owen (guitar & vocals), Jon Oestreich (bass & vocals), and Brian Carroll (drums), Fireweed Fiddle brings a seasoned lineup of Alaskan musicians who know how to get a crowd dancing—whether they’re playing a front-porch fiddle tune, a jazzy swing number, or a heartfelt ballad.

    Fireweed Fiddle has become a staple of the Interior Alaska music scene. Their shows are upbeat, inviting, and full of character—perfect for fans of old-time, folk, and acoustic soul with a Northern flair.

  • Founded around a bonfire in Palmer Alaska in 2019, Roland Roberts and his band have gained a following with their mix of storytelling, electric improvisation, and high-energy live shows. Their albums All About The Timing and So It Goes earned high regards around the world and landed them on several grassroots national tours stretching from the snowy roads of Alaska to dusty highways of the Southwest. With haunting harmonies, in your face guitar licks, and sometimes lengthy experimental jams, The Roland Roberts Band captures the wild spirit of the frontier—no matter where they roam.

  • After two tours, USMC Combat Veteran, Scooter Brown traded his guns in for guitars and hit the road.
    Scooter Brown Band has toured and opened for some of their biggest influences including Charlie Daniels Band, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, Lee Roy Parnell and the Marshall Tucker Band, just to name a few. Two members wore the uniform, dedicating 25 years of combined service to our great country, and they continue to dedicate a significant amount of time doing work for Veteran Support Organizations
    The band was named as an Artist to Watch by Rolling Stone and has recently joined forces with Chris Ramos from Boomtown Saints. A new project is being launched in 2026 that has everyone in Nashville talking.
    In July 2019, the Scooter Brown Band made their debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage, introduced by fellow road warrior, Opry-member Charlie Daniels.

  • Blackwater Railroad Company began as a community band in Seward, Alaska, a deep-water harbor, port city and gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. Over the past decade, the band honed folk-style songwriting and a raucous live show into a singular Alaskan voice that's grounded in storytelling and foot-stomping good times. Their new album Caravan finds them poised on the precipice of their next chapter.

  • Annie Bartholomew is a Juneau songwriter and clawhammer banjo player who creates mountain music as dark and dramatic as the northland. Inspired by the ghosts of Alaska's mining past, her debut album Sisters of White Chapel uses historic source material and Appalachian stringband traditions to explore themes of survival, resilience, and revelry through her original folk songs about women and sex workers who traveled north during the Klondike Gold Rush.

    For her Chickenstock debut, Annie will be taking the stage with her festival ride-or-dies: Kat Moore, Nichole Campanale, and Chris Bieri, who have crossed oceans and state lines picking tunes together most recently at Dawson City Honky Tonk, Red Ants Pants Music Festival in Montana, Rotterdam Bluegrass in the Netherlands, and Louisiana's Blackpot Festival & Cookoff.

  • KIngSwardFish has been playing Chickenstock for the last 10 years. We are dedicated to the movement of hips. Reggae groove infused with the blues with a hint social justice. we sing about real life issue for real life people.

  • Hailing from Kentucky and West Virginia, Andy King brings the honkytonk to Alaska for over 15 years. Together with his wife, Mandy Booth King, they form the band Dangertown based out of Anchorage, AK. Dangertown is known for their upbeat, harmony-driven crowd pleasing songs drawing from classic country, southern rock and bluegrass favorites. Brian Carroll joins them with his rock-solid drumming and Alex Clarke adds his tasty electric guitar licks. Their fun, danceable songs and sweet harmonies make for a high entertainment value.

  • For 16 years, Hot Dish has been bringing their main character energy and one-of-a-kind Alaskan sound to audiences across the state. This musical casserole is a mashup of bluegrass, jazz, jam bands, rock and Zappa. These Chickenstock veterans are delighted to be back, once again, to the best darn festival around. You know them, you love them - get ready to get unhinged with Hot Dish.

  • Not your average Country show, the Jerry Wessling Band has built a reputation for getting crowds pumped and jumping with high flying musicianship, laser light shows, and high-energy crowd participation. In 2025 the Jerry Wessling Band played 274 shows across Alaska, Japan, and Hawaii. Strap in for fireworks and a few Yee Haws.

  • Previously Jonny J & the Gold Diggers ~ The Whiskey Fish bring their high energy, edgy folk style back to Chickenstock with new songs, new bones to pick, and foot stomping chant-able lyrics with a message.

  • Full of Americana, bluegrass and northwest music, Great American Trainwreck combines melodic riffs, thoughtful lyrics and heavenly harmonies to define their progressive approach to traditional genres. Hailing from Seattle, Washington, the band formed when friends and former bandmates got together to share their love for rootsy Americana. With influences ranging from Alison Krauss & Union Station to Blackberry Smoke, their music is original and upbeat, blending bluegrass and southern rock into a sound uniquely their own. The band is currently working on their fourth studio album and touring across North America.

  • Steve Brown and the Bailers are an Alaska-based band delivering a dynamic fusion of Americana, alt-country, folk rock, and rockabilly. With a signature sound that’s both eclectic and ever-evolving, they’ve spent over a decade crafting heartfelt originals and high-energy performances. From their hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska, to venues across the state, the Bailers bring raw talent, rich storytelling, and a foot-stomping good time to every stage they play.
